WebThis is a DIY built First Watt F6 with the DIYaudiostore case and PCB’s. It has matched input FETs and matched output Mosfets. Piltron toroid and a huge 8 x 33,000 UF power supply. The F6 is 25 watts 8 ohms and 50 watts 4 ohms and drove my 84 db 4 ohm speakers with deep bass. In fact quite a bit more bass than my 125 watt Marantz receiver. WebMar 30, 2024 · Delete. WebMay 31, 2024 · This sound very good so I have built 2 of these, in fact this is the best sounding First watt amplifier in my opinion, mostly because it has the highest dumping factor of all, 100. WebAug 5, 2024 · I have been using a McCormack DNA .05 Deluxe amp and a Don Sachs 6NS7 tube amp to drive my Spatial Audio M4S Turbo S Hologram open-baffle speakers, which are ~94 db efficient.
